Marty Schubitzke -- Owner/President Mr. Schubitzke played two years of minor league football prior to founding the Stampede. He is a Duluth firefighter, and is married with two children. Email: polishfire@hotmail.com

Lindsay R.M. Jones, LLC -- Board of Directors Mr. Jones was a 1991 graduate of the University of Minnesota law school, where he also taught and was a research fellow for the Institute on Race & Poverty. Mr. Jones previously was an assistant attorney general for the State of Minnesota, and the Deputy Director & Director of Advocacy & Legal Aid for the State of North Carolina. Mr. Jones' practice currently deals with state, federal, and appellate litigation.

Wally Kostich -- Board of Directors Mr. Kostich has been a high school football coach for the past 18 years. The first fifteen were as an assistant coach for Hibbing High School, and the past three have been as the head coach for Mt. Iron-Buhl, where his teams have made the state tournament two of those years. Mr. Kostich is also a staff coach for the Tice Brothers Football Camp in St. Paul. This camp is the largest staffed camp in the United States, with coaches coming from all over the U.S. and Canada.

Joseph Hietala -- Board of Directors Mr. Hietala has been an educator and football coach for the past eighteen years. He was an assistant football coach at Duluth Central High School for fourteen years, and has been the head football coach at Duluth East for the past four. His teams have won their conference in two of those years, and Coach Hietala has been named the conference coach of the year twice.

Gary Vitali -- Board of Directors Mr. Vitale was the Head football coach at Hibbing high School for over 20 years. He is an educator, and also serves as an age-group coordinator for the Tice Brothers Football Camp, the largest football camp in the United States.

Terry Fawcett - Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator

Mr. Fawcett played four seasons of minor league football after graduating from Huron University in 1993. He served as the head coach of the Duluth-Superior Stampede semi-pro team the last two seasons in which his teams finished 15-8 and made the league semi-finals both years. Fawcett will coordinate all media relations for the Stampede. Fawcett serves as Court & Field Services Supervisor for Arrowhead Regional Corrections. He and his family reside in Hermantown, Minnesota.

Joel Brekken - Treasurer/Assistant Head Coach

Mr. Brekken is a 1993 graduate of UMD. He has been an assistant coach at Duluth East High School for the past 15 years. He was the offensive coordinator last season for his former minor league team. He is the owner/operator of Joel Brekken Agency of Farmers Insurance and Financial Services. Joel, his wife Mandy and their two children reside in Duluth, Minnesota.

Bob DeMeyer - Offensive Coordinator

Coach DeMeyer was a teammate of Coach Fawcett's at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. DeMeyer went on to play professionally in Italy, the Arena Football League, and in the Indoor Football League. DeMeyer is the head coach of the Northwestern Tigers High School team in Maple, Wisconsin.

Al McDonald - Assistant Coach/Defense

Coach McDonald was the Defensive Coordinator for Coach Fawcett the past two seasons. This year he'll assist the defensive staff as a volunteer coach.

Jesse Falter - Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Coach

The former Northwestern Tiger captain will help recruiting efforts in the northern Wisconsin region, as well assist the defensive coaching staff with game day preparation.

Bryon Blaire - Assistant Coach/Statistician

Mr. Blaire served as the Special Teams Assistant the past two seasons for Terry Fawcett, as well as reporting all scores to the media and league. Mr. Blaire is an employee of St. Louis County.

Matt Krivinchuk - Assistant Coach/Defense

Coach K. has been an assistant football coach at Superior Senior High School for the past six years.

Jeff Schultz - Assistant Coach/Offensive Line

Coach Schultz has been an assistant coach at Superior Senior High School for the past five years.
